Glam Sense Box : Lise Watier "HydraForce" Review

Recently I had the opportunity to review a Glam Sense box offered by Topbox.ca.
Glam Sense is a Canadian program that will send you free products to review based on your answers on their surveys, if you qualify you will receive a Glam Sense box, you then review it and share it to your social media!

In the Glam Sense box I received, contained a full size jar (45ml) of the new Lise Watier "HydraForce" hydra-protective comforting cream, along with their “Hydration Tool” to use with their Hydra-Detect App.

The "Hydration Tool" simply plugs into the headphone jack on your phone and you must download the app (available in the iOS App Store & Android Google Play Store). All you have to do is open the app and begin testing the product by pressing the silver tabs onto your skin, it then tells you how hydrated your skin is!

Canadian winters can be pretty harsh on your skin, especially when the wind-chill hits, so my skin is usually very dry all winter long. Needless to say, I was looking forward to seeing what my hydration readings would be!

The Test!

Hand : First I tested the back of my hand. I held the "Hydration Tool" against my skin, and quickly got the reading of 35.6%. I was actually pretty surprised at that number considering I'm always putting moisturisers on my hands. I then applied some of the hydra-protective comforting cream and waited 10 minutes and tested again, and got the reading of 67.3%. The cream absorbed really quickly and added so much moisture!

T-Zone : Next I continued the same procedure with my T-Zone. My first reading was 50.3%, and then after applying the hydra-protective comforting cream and waiting 10 minutes I received the reading of 62.9%. My initial result was pretty good, but the cream increased it by over 10%! Amazing!

Cheek : Last I tested my cheek, the area where I usually find the most dryness on my face. My first reading was  48.1%, and after applying the hydra-protective comforting cream and waiting 10 minutes my reading was 62.8%. The cream had added just over 14% moisture to my cheeks!

The app also contains a tab which tells you what the overall moisture level of your skin is.

Lise Watier "HydraForce" hydra-protective comforting cream has a perfume-like fragrance and the texture is very light and non-greasy, you don't need to apply a lot because a little goes a long way.

This cream has left my skin feeling super soft and silky, I have found the biggest improvement on my hands and have added this to my daily moisturizer!

You can find Lise Watier's "HydraForce" hydra-protective comforting cream on their website, it retails for $45.00 (45ml), also make sure you check to see if there is any skin Hydration Testing events near you! #GetInTheBubble
